During all 4 years of high school and college, I was on the staff of my campus newspaper and literary magazine as an editor, responsible for proofreading and editing students' work. Earned A's and B's in all of my English classes. -CERT and FR medical certification ("Community Emergency Response Team" and "First Responder") - trained in first aid and life-saving skills. -Bachelor's degree in International & Cultural Studies. 4 years of classes on the Middle East and Islamic terrorist groups. -Passable conversational Spanish (most comfortable with teaching Beginner levels 1 and 2) and beginning basic Arabic. -Spent 4 weeks in 2010, and 6 weeks in 2011, working with an NGO in 4 countries in the Middle East.
