Education

I graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in, Marketing. After working in the business world for a number of years, I found teaching as a second career. At that point I attended DePaul University for my Masters in Education with a focus in Secondary Education Social Sciences. I later earned my certification to teach Business Education at the high school level.

Experience

I have taught for the last 4 years at both the Middle School and High School level. My teaching experiences has included Middle School World History and Geography. At the High School level I have taught US History, World History, 20th Century History. I have also taught Business Education at the High School level with courses such as Economics, Personal Finance, and Business Law. I obtained a Undergraduate Business Degree in Marketing and spent 10 years working in the business world. After working in the business world I obtained a Masters in Education in Social Sciences, focusing on grades 5-12. I love both History and Business and enjoy helping young people understand their past and how they can influence their future. I have previously tutored 1-on-1 with students through my previous teaching job and through tutoring programs locally to age levels of middle school through high school.

Hobbies

In my spare time I enjoy Running, Golfing, Playing Tennis, Reading. I currently coach the Boys Golf team at Lafayette High School. I enjoy reading both non-fiction and fiction books, when I can find the time. I grew up playing tennis from a very young age and enjoy getting out to hit as often as I can in my summer's off.
