I currently attend Maryville University. I am currently in the fourth year of a six and a half year program. I am pursing my doctorate of Physical Therapy. I have always felt that learning anything new should be a fun and engaging experience. I also think that students learn best when they can clearly see how their subject integrates with everyday life. I think this philosophy will hold up well when educating clients in the future. Tutoring, of any sorts, should be done so in a way that removes all the mysteries. If you can break complex ideas down into smaller parts, you are well on your way to being a great teacher.I have found that students learn best when they are in a supportive learning environment. No two students will learn the same, so I tailor my tutoring sessions to teach students how they will best learn. This way, they both learn and gain confidence. Their confidence is what helps them master each new subject. When not tutoring, I do manage to relax and occupy my time exercising, attending concerts, and reading a good book or magazine.
