Enjoy teaching willing learners; it's pleasurable participating with a student's efforts to comprehend, achieve and implement acquired knowledge. I have taught in middle, high schools, undergrad and graduate level courses. Having personally taken courses that were a "struggle", I do understand and have experienced a learner's frustration paralleling efforts to acquire difficult concepts. Sometimes achievement necessitates not simply a learner's efforts but repetition, application/examples, review of fundamental concepts, practice and maturity. It follows that the learner will confirm when he/she feels a comfortable confidence with the subject objectives, along with a proficiency on pop quizzes.

Personal loves include: consuming music, literature, art, cooking, animals, swimming, reading legal/medical articles, writing a book-hopefully publishing, gardening, antiquing, volunteering time to organizations supporting/loaning $ to college students, my faith, time with family members, traveling and experiencing other's culture's food, culture and language, plus joking about my foreign language errors. I was mother of two sons; at 4-5 yrs. old the eldest had dissected frogs, fish and a cat on the kitchen table under my tutorage; knew tibia from fibula, and became an M.D. by 22. The 3 yr old requested a calculator with functions well beyond his chronological age; and at 21, had secured a CPA and later a masters in tax law. Regardless of gender, children engaged in acquiring science and math skills are my teaching passion. Parents will receive a monthly report succinctly informing them of their student's progress. A reasonable meeting location includes Panera or library.
